Northy's left peels off a sandbar built by Narrabeen Lagoon's outflow at the north end of the beach. An ENE swell with light W to SW wind opens the end section, and south swells can work when the sand allows. Low to mid tide is best. On rare big days a bombie about 400 m out also breaks.
