Off Stella Maris, near the road to the Catussaba hotel, Platô is a left over a shallow reef shelf that needs high tide to cover the coral. South swell and a west-northwest morning wind line it up; even a light onshore spoils it. Seper, a hollow left just to the north, has a rock that sticks up about 20 m into the ride and plenty of urchins. Locals fill both when they break.
