Sand-and-gravel peaks beside a long black stone spit, just south of a river mouth north of Baler town, a tuk-tuk ride from Sabang Beach. It is often messy and prone to closing out, but long-period autumn swells can give big, wall-like rides. The name dates from the filming of Apocalypse Now here in the 1970s.
