Pier break at the north end of Pleasure Island, the backup when Wrightsville's C Street is too crowded. The same swell is usually hollower and stronger here than in Wrightsville, best on S to SE swell with a west wind around mid tide. Water is murkier because the Cape Fear River drains through the inlet just north.
