Sandbar peaks beside the long South Pointe jetty at the south tip of Miami Beach, flat most of the year because the Bahamas block the swell. Straight north swells after a winter cold front can make it the only spot breaking in Florida, with A-frames on an incoming tide and a W to NW wind. SE windswell also wraps around the long jetty into chunky peaks.
