Soft, slow peaks over cobble and sand sit right beside the old coast highway north of Ventura, and longboards and soft-tops fill most of the lineup. On a medium-low tide the rights run along in a point-like line; W and NW swells from October to February are the season. Park on the shoulder in front of the break, climb down the rocks carefully and wear booties if the cobbles bother you.
