Out past Canoes, in front of the Sheraton Waikiki, a long curving reef gives a right that swings down the line with bowly inside sections and a shorter, mushy left. It handles more size than the inside breaks and comes alive on a solid S swell, when the best local surfers show up. Expect a long paddle from the beach. Learners should stay at Canoes or Queens until they can paddle 10 minutes and pick their own line.
