On the northeast corner of Haleiwa Harbor, the point has three belts: an inside used by surf schools on small days, a middle, and an outer left take-off. When the rest of the North Shore is maxing it stays rideable, and a long-period northerly swell sends big right walls off the outer tip toward the harbour channel. First-timers should only go on the inside on small days, ideally with a lesson.
