Dumpers · reef break, advanced, best on NE/N/E swell with W/SW wind, mid to high tide. Fast, hollow left over shallow reef on the east side of Isla Colon, north of Paunch; it punishes mistakes and is for experienced surfers.
Carenero · reef break, intermediate, best on N/NE swell with SW/S wind, all tides. Left reef point on Isla Carenero, a short water-taxi ride from Bocas town; the most accessible good wave in the archipelago and often crowded.
Silverbacks · reef break, advanced, best on N/NE swell with S/SW wind, all tides. Bocas del Toro's big-wave right, a heavy reef off Isla Bastimentos that starts working around head high and holds much larger northeast swells.
Wizard Beach · beach break, intermediate, best on N/NE swell with S/SW wind, mid to high tide. Jungle-backed beach on Isla Bastimentos, reached by boat and a walk; beach-break peaks that are usually empty.
Bluff Beach · beach break, advanced, best on NNE/NE/ENE swell with SSW/SW/WSW wind, all tides. A hollow Caribbean beach break on Isla Colon fed by northeast windswell. It is shallow and steep, so suited to experienced surfers.
