Two kilometres of patrolled beach in front of the Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club, where Barwon Heads takes the edge off the SW swell. Waves are mostly mid-sized on mid to high tide, cleanest in a NNW wind. Rasta Surf Co calls it one of the safest beaches on the coast to learn; surfers move on to 13th Beach once they want more power.
