The Wreck surf forecast
Byron Bay · New South Wales · Australia
A sand bank built up around the wreck of the SS Wollongbar, a short swim off the Main Beach car park. The right off the rudder end is fast, hollow and powerful; a short left also breaks with a narrow take-off. It needs a good swell and mid to high tide, and the steel remains in the lineup make it a spot for experienced surfers.
