Coral-reef left that wraps around a pointed reef into a channel, well off Serrambi beach in front of the old Intermares hotel: a paddle of 20 minutes or more, or a boat ride. It wants south-east swell over a metre with a west to west-north-west wind, from mid to high tide on the push. The reef is shallow and covered in urchins, and the locals are protective, so go with someone who surfs it.
