A 3 km uninhabited beach on the ocean side of Ilha Grande, facing SSW, reached by boat from Abraão to Palmas and a 15 minute trail. SW and S groundswells break on shallow sand with peaks both ways; NE wind is offshore and summer is often flat. Locals guard the main peak, so sit wide of it and wait your turn. Boards can be rented near the beach.
