Paraná's best-known right breaks off the rocky point in the centre of Matinhos and needs a solid south or southeast swell with a northwest wind; summer is mostly flat. Sand over rock makes it hollow and fast, with rides of 150 to 300 m on good days. When it works the line-up is packed, ultra crowded on weekends, and the locals take most waves.
