Xangão is the surf corner of Barra do Sahy, in Aracruz, where a right breaks off an offshore reef of uneven rock and sand. It only wakes up on a big east to southeast swell, from about 1.2 m; then the take-off sucks up and a long wall follows, with barrels. Low to mid tide and a west wind. A local told A Gazeta it only breaks when the sea is very big, so check the swell before the drive.
