Barra do Jucu, at the mouth of the Jucu river in Vila Velha, has three named peaks: Barrão, a left that runs long on south swell, the heavy shorebreak off the rocks at Praia da Concha, and Cemitério, a right farther south. Southeast swell from 0.6 m and a northwest wind; mid tide on a rising push is best. When it breaks, the whole of Vila Velha knows, so expect a full lineup.
