Long open beach between Concón and Quintero, named by guides as the birthplace of Chilean surfing (first ridden in the early 1970s). Sandbar peaks both ways work on SW swell with an east wind, best May to August. The south end is bigger, closes out more and is hard to paddle out when big; the north end has a soft left beside an easy channel, which is where newer surfers should go.
