Left point in a shallow bay at the village of Matanzas, in the Navidad district north of Puertecillo, with outside and inside lefts over rock and sand. It picks up most SW swells and lines up best below mid tide with an east wind, though sections often fail to connect. South wind gets in more than at other points, which is why windsurfers and kiters like it, so go in the morning.
