Left point along a black-sand beach near Taucú, about 6 km south of Cobquecura, where fishing boats sell their catch. The set-up is like Buchupureo's but less hollow: long walls with cutback shoulders that pull in learners in summer. It works on SW to S swell from about 1 m and holds near 4 m at any tide, with an east to southeast wind. Improvers can ride the shoulder on small days; on big days the rips are strong.
