Long sandy beach west of Las Terrenas on the Samaná peninsula, with short peaks both ways on N to NE swell up to about 2 m. A south to southeast wind cleans it up; the trades turn it choppy later in the day. A small reef 200 to 300 m along the beach gives a fun left when the sandbars close out.
