Coral reef left off Madiha Beach on the west side of Matara, about 6 km east of Mirissa; Wannasurf lists it as Turtle Point for the turtles on the reef. A steep take-off on SW swell from about 1.5 m leads into a short barrel on good days and then a reforming wall, with a north wind offshore. The softer right on the next reef is the easier wave.
