Reef left just south of the fishing village of El Ñuro and its long pier, 4 km south of Los Órganos. A NW swell (November to March) and a southeast wind turn it into a fun wave with crumbly lips and forgiving cutback walls over a sand-covered rock shelf, and extra peaks show toward the pier. It works at most tides, and the lineup is quieter than at Los Órganos, so improvers can push their surfing here.
