Hollow left over rock and coral at the rocky point of Punta Sal, the resort beach north of Máncora in Tumbes. It needs a NW swell, so the season runs November to March, and is best at low to mid tide on the drop with an east to southeast wind. The take-off sits right beside the rocks. Few surfers paddle out, even on good days.
