Long left point under the Cerro Negro headland at Puerto Morín, about 40 km south of Trujillo, another of northern Peru's sand-and-rock lefts. A SSW to SW swell from about 1.5 m wraps along the point in fast, hollow walls of 150 to 300 m, longer on the best days. The big headland keeps it clean in east to south-southwest winds, and it works at all tides. Few surfers make the trip.
