Sandbars just north of the Brazos Santiago Pass jetty at Isla Blanca Park, the southern tip of South Padre Island. A shorter, deeper shelf than the rest of Texas lets more swell in, so waves are usually bigger and better shaped here, on E to SE swell with a westerly wind at any tide. The inside dumps hollow while the outside bar can get overhead; paddle out beside the jetty for the easiest way through.
