Off the town's main beach, south of the Supertubes point and in front of the Kitchen Windows beach restaurant, a rock reef mixed with sand breaks both ways. It picks up south to southeast swells that miss the point, with west to northwest wind offshore, and winter waves run about twice the summer size. Beginners should use the sandy main beach next door on small days, away from the rocks.
