Esmelle · beach break, intermediate, best on NW/W swell with SE/E wind, low to mid tide. Short, wild beach between San Xurxo and Covas with variable peaks; very exposed to swell and wind, so it needs light offshore days.
San Xurxo · beach break, intermediate, best on W/NW swell with SE/S/E wind, low to mid tide. Wide bay next to Doniños with several peaks and slightly smaller waves; a long left runs by the southern rocks at low to mid tide.
Santa Comba · beach break, intermediate, best on W/NW swell with SE/S wind, low tide. Pretty beach below the Santa Comba hermitage islet with peaks both ways; on a west swell and light southerly it can barrel with few people out.
Ponzos · beach break, intermediate, best on NW/W swell with SE/E wind, low to mid tide. Exposed dune-backed beach north of Ferrol with longish, shifting peaks; a groundswell spot that draws a crowd when it fires.
