- inter-island (Canary Islands) flights: sports equipment under 23 kg goes within the fare allowance, plus 5 kg extra as a courtesy
- flights outside the islands: surf equipment is not covered by the allowance and is charged
- standard surf bag about 160 x 60 x 30 cm and 23 kg; bigger or heavier is charged as BULK baggage (up to 32 kg)
- several boards allowed in one bag within those limits
- Binter flies ATR turboprops and Embraer jets, so longer boards may not fit; ask first
