Flying with a surfboard on French Bee
Sports fee · 32 kg. Fee: EUR 100 per flight if added more than 48 h before departure, EUR 125 within 48 h (French Bee help article); other French Bee pages show different prices, e.g. USD 130 online / USD 165 on the day (US site) and CAD 150 / 190 (Canadian tariff).
Booking: Add it when booking or later in Manage my booking > Additional Services; cheaper more than 48 h before departure. Overweight or oversized items can only be paid at the airport
- a surfboard counts as large sports equipment and is never in the free allowance, even on Bee Smart, Bee Flex or Premium fares
- the fee is per bag, not per board, so several boards in one bag pay one fee
- up to 32 kg on the large-equipment page; the standard sports-equipment page says 23 kg
- no surfboard length limit found; ask French Bee for longboards
- prices differ between French Bee's own pages and markets, so check the price in the booking
