The main left breaks between the Gold Coast Seaway's south wall and the sand-pumping jetty, which keeps the banks fed. An east swell with a west wind is best, and it copes with the NE sea breeze better than the beaches to the south. Slopey when small, it closes out once faces pass 2 m. Learners can use the softer peaks south toward Main Beach.
