Small river mouth 15 minutes north of central Maceió on the road to Paripueira, with a fast left that gets hollow on the inside and a smaller, sometimes longer right. High tide only: at low tide the bar gets shallow and rocky. Usually quiet, busier when the south coast is flat. Park on the road and walk in along the walls of the two beach clubs. Learners should stick to small high-tide days.
