Lighthouse point about 90 km south of Maceió, better known for the calm reef pools in front of the village at low tide. The surf is on the open side of the point towards the river mouth, with peaks both ways on south to south-east swell and a north-west wind, at any tide. It fills up when it is good. Beginners should ask locals about the current at the river mouth.
