Gamboa, also called Praia do Tombo, is the beach just north of Siriú, reached by the Siriú road from Garopaba. Surf-Forecast rates it very consistent on southeast swell with a northwest wind at any tide, while Wannasurf contributors say it needs the right swell and wind. It rarely gets crowded. The rips are strong, so intermediate surfers should paddle out beside them, not in them.
