At the westernmost tip of the Salinas peninsula, below the lighthouse and the tourist viewpoint, a right bends around the point over uneven reef, with the odd left. The tip catches swell from SW to N and is best on NW, but it is exposed, windy and rippy, so it needs a NE wind. Access is through the naval base with ID, parking is restricted, and sea lions share the lineup.
