A sand-bottom right runs off the jetty at the Likin river mouth, 5 km east of Puerto San José, in 30 to 50 m of fast, hollow wall. The left off the same peak heads straight for the jetty rocks and usually closes out. Go on a S to SW swell with the morning north wind and a low incoming tide or slack high: the falling tide pulls a rip along the jetty that shuts it down for hours.
