Left point in a cliff-lined bay at Balcones, beside Negritos south of Talara. The cliffs shelter it from most winds, so it can be clean when the open Talara coast is blown out. It works on NW swell at mid to high tide on the push with an east to southeast wind, and the beach is usually empty. Both guides list rips, rocks and sharks; do not surf it alone.
