La Ventana is a white-sand beach in Jucuarán named after the hole in the cliff above it, between Punta Mango and El Cuco. East of the headland the peaks are short and punchy; the west end has a right that links into long rides once a moderate SW swell arrives. Mornings are soft enough for beginners, who should start early on the sand-bottom peaks before the wind turns the surface choppy.
