Herolds Bay is a small resort bay near George Airport where reef and sand peaks break both ways in front of the beach. Clean southeast to east swells with a light north to northwest berg wind give hollow, punchy waves in conditions much like those at Victoria Bay. Rocks frame both ends of the bay. Beginners should surf it only on small days, in the sandy middle of the beach.
