Rock reef under the highest part of the multi-coloured cliffs just south of the Kwanza river mouth, inside Quiçama National Park. Buy the park ticket at the Kwanza bridge, then follow the dirt track across the mudflats to the sand spit and walk south, which is easier at low tide. The main reef breaks both ways, the right shorter and hollower, and is one of the few rights on this coast; two smaller peaks closer to the river are not worth the detour. It starts at 1 to 1.5 m of south to southwest swell on a rising low to mid tide, closes out on big swells, and an afternoon sea breeze blows it out.
