Pitangueiras faces SE and breaks about 150 days a year, taking S, SE and E swell from about 0.6 m to 2.5 m. The main peak is Canto do Maluf at the east end, a left off the hill that splits it from Enseada, with rights toward the Ilha rock. Best from low tide on the fall with NW to N wind.
