Itararé is São Vicente's surf beach, an urban stretch between the Pedra da Feiticeira and Ilha Porchat with three peaks: off the Feiticeira end, mid-beach and beside Porchat. S and SW swell work best from low to mid tide, from about 1 m up to 2.5 m, with N wind. Many local surfers learnt here: on small swells beginners can use the mid-beach peaks, away from the rocks at either end.
