The sandbars beside the Atlântida fishing platform in Xangri-lá hosted the first stage of the 2023 Dream Tour. South-southeast swell with a west-northwest wind gives full, rideable waves for all levels and barrels on classic days. The platform partly collapsed on 15 October 2023, and surfers were told to keep clear of falling concrete. Intermediate surfers should stay well away from the pilings.
