A 3.5 km beach south of Havaizinho, Itacarezinho turns east swell into long, soft rollers over sand, a summer favourite for longboards. The north end by the rocks has the best lefts; a west wind cleans it up. A paid car park at the restaurant has showers, a lifeguard and a surf school. Beginners can take a lesson there and stay inside the whitewater, away from the channels where the current pulls out.
