Sand-and-rock peaks beside a breakwater on Avenida Leste-Oeste, about 1 km west of the Marina hotel at Praia de Iracema. Needs a north or north-east swell of about a metre and holds well over 2 m, best at mid to high tide. Big sets can push you onto the rocks next to the peak, and the water is often poor after rain. Beginners should only paddle out on small days and stay well clear of the breakwater.
