Beach below the coloured sand cliffs of Morro Branco, about 4 km from Beberibe on the east coast of Ceará. Sand peaks work on north to east swell from about 1 m on any tide, with the south-west breeze offshore before the trade wind sets in. It is empty on weekdays and has a few surfers at weekends. Beginners can surf the small days at mid tide but should watch for rips.
