La Sud surf forecast
Lacanau · Gironde · France
The southern part of the Lacanau Océan town beach, next to the last groin. A left often breaks along the groin and a right forms a little further south toward the Écureuil lifeguard post. Waves are usually smaller than at La Nord, and the area is busy with surf schools in summer, but the sandbanks can be steep and hollow close to shore.
