El Hombre (Chicama) surf forecast

The inside section of the Chicama left, breaking in front of Puerto Malabrigo near the old El Hombre guesthouse, about a kilometre down the point from El Point. The wave speeds up and stands up here over shifting sand bars, giving the steepest and hollowest part of the point; a strong south-west swell with a firm southerly wind can produce long barrels. It is the easiest section to reach from town, and it only links up with El Point on big, well-lined swells.
