South-facing beach at the site of the old Cape Hatteras (Frisco) Pier, now removed, on the south side of Cape Hatteras. Sheltered from N to NE energy and offshore in a north wind, so it is the call when the north-facing beaches are blown out. Prefers S swell at low to mid tide; often mushy peaks turn into fast closeouts, which locals call the Frisco Disco.
