Northern tip of the Caparica peninsula, on the ocean side facing the Tagus mouth. Short wedges with backwash off the groynes, rights at the north end and lefts around the southern jetty when the tide is low; fickle and not a place for first lessons. Go with a swell and an east wind, and keep clear of the channels next to the groynes.
