Praia do CDS surf forecast

Short groyne-bounded beach about 300 m long in the middle of the town front, with a narrow strip of sand that almost vanishes at high tide in winter. Sandbanks between the groynes give peaks both ways and it is used by surf schools in summer. Lifeguarded in season; watch the channels beside the groynes and expect a busy lineup.
